Announcing a Free Service

IN EARLY OCTOBER OF LAST YEAR, we began to build this NEW PROGRAM.

It officially launched on January 1, 2024. HASHACHAR INVITES VISITORS TO ISRAEL from North America to visit patients in the nospital and/or rehabd centers. Physician approval is provided -this ts just a friendly visit, from persons 18 or older. Patients are of varying ages—some are widows, others are children who may have lost one or both parents, and others are soldiers who have been wounded in battle and may have lost a limb. We can answer questions about this volunteer activity meant to encourage recovering patients regardless of race, religion, or creed.

The visitor will remain in the room for a few minutes, up to 30 minutes at most. He/she may visit one or more patients. The idea is to show that a fellow human being cares.

A fund is being developed to assist students who wish to participate, after January 1, 2025. We accept contributions from individuals, but not from PACs. There is no charge for our services in this program. For further information, please contact us at our Raleigh office.
